Plaxico Burress will be turning himself in to police today, and the bad decision maker could be facing felony gun charges. Just for fun, let’s go over what actually happened that night at the LQ Nightclub in Manhattan.
The guards told Plax and his entourage to report all gats- or else. Plax abliged.
After moving to a secluded area with the guard, he allegedly took the gun out and started to unload the bullets while drinking a glass of wine.
The usually sure-handed wideout began to bobble the firearm and accidentally firing a shot that ripped through his leg. He told the security guards to NOT call police, and had his friend (presumably teammate Antonio Pierce) drop him off at the ER at 2 AM.
The police arrived at Plaxico’s crib on Sunday at 4:30 PM, were denied access, and left. A Giant’s team representative volunteered to take police to the gun, supposedly in New Jersey. Antonio Pierce was the last person seen with the gun, according to the New York Post.
Juice: Coupled with Plaxico’s two domestic disturbance calls recently, this dude is headed straight for Pacman Lane. We’re still waiting to see how Tommy “Red Face” Coughlin and the Giant brass handle this disaster. But, based on yesterdays game against the Skins, No Plaxico equals No Problem. Next.
