Before you wonder WTF is going on in this picture, take a moment to understand the man behind the hump. Let us explain.
Although the Chiefs lost yesterday to the Chargers 20-19, a positive fact came out of the game for the Chiefs. His name is Tyler Durden. No, wait, it’s Tyler Thigpen…sorry. He may be the future.
The former third stringer and current starter by default went 27-for-41 for 266 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday’s loss. He added 26 yards rushing on two carries.
In three games since taking over as the starter in Week 8, Thigpen has completed 64.7 percent of his passes, thrown for 710 yards and six touchdowns, and not turned the ball over once.

Thigpen has looked like a real QB that past few weeks. Having a losing season will be worth it if they’ve found their long term QB.
