In case you were worried about the wide receivers in Dallas, you can relax. The Cowboys, who clearly do not have salary cap restrictions, just signed Roy “I hate my life in Detroit” Williams.
That’s right, one day after saying such a move would mean “the season is over,” Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew reportedly has traded receiver Roy Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. The Lions will send Williams and their 2009 seventh-round pick to the Cowboys in exchange for a first-, third- and sixth-round pick next season.
