Tony Romo knows what to say, and “who” to say it about. Case in point, team owner Jerry Jones. Tony was recently asked about the old goat and here’s what he had to say:
“Honestly, I love Jerry. I think he is an outstanding owner. He just wants to win. I don’t know why people sometimes get on someone who just wants to win and he is always positive.
“He is not a coach, he is not going to come down there and say you need to do this and this. He just wants you to stay upbeat and positive because there is another play. There is another possession. He came up to me and told me something right before I went out and threw a touchdown pass last week and it was good. I feel like he is a positive reinforcement guy. You can’t have enough of that in the NFL in my opinion and it is awesome when it comes from your owner.”
Juice: Don’t believe Romo’s butt-kissing. His 6-year, $67.4 million dollar contract reminds him of who “daddy” is. Grab it again, Yoda. Tony likey.
