If you missed the Thusday Night game between the Chicago Bears and the San Francisco 49ers, then you missed one helluva performance by the guy we like to call “Whiskey Boy”.
Kyle Orton completed 10-of-17 passes for 147 yards, with two impressive touchdown passes to Rashied Davis. But that isn’t what impressed us the most about Old No. 18. What we were impressed with was his foot work and the way he was looking off defenders. Watch the tape, or tivo (in our case).
Kyle obviously took this offseason seriously. He looked fit, sober, and mostly groomed. We suspect he hit the local taverns no more than 3 times a week this offseason, maybe 4 if he was finished with his homework.
The Bears made the right choice to go with Orton. It won’t be long before Rex is wearing a Dolphin uniform- accoring to our inside sources.
How will Kyle celebrate his Thursday Night performance?
