Jeff Garcia goes down…..on a dude rollout today, according to Sirius NFL. We’re on the field. Here’s the latest…
According to Bucs Beat:
Quarterback Jeff Garcia was injured Thursday during a non-contact passing drill. The extent of his right leg injury is unknown.
Garcia seemed to be in some discomfort after rolling out and throwing a pass during a non-contact receiving drill.
He was carted off the field and limped precariously to the locker room.
Trainer Todd Toriscelli was attending to Garcia during the second half of Thursday’s workout.
Juice: Bad news for the Bucs…..or is it. Jeff was pissy a couple of days ago for not getting respected. Jon Gruden secretly would allow a “Favre Teabag” to occur, in exchange for one year together. Ted Thompson is in a bad position with Brett…unless SOMEBODY needs a quarterback, very desperately.
Conspiracy theory? Perhaps. Would it justify the ‘Favre to Tampon Bay’ trade? Yep, from all parties involved. Ted just got his big break. May Aaron not hurt his ankle on a rollout next week.
