Michael Haynes, the 14th pick in the 2003 draft, was visiting with landscape designers Friday afternoon when a visitor arrived. Among the topics of discussion, the possibility of going with zoysia grass at his 10-acre estate. Such are the decisions he’s facing in building a life after football with a new family and entering the corporate world as a high-end real estate agent in the ever-expanding Research Triangle area. Cedric has always been lazy,” Haynes said. ”Cedric was lazy when he first got to Chicago, and I guarantee you he is lazy now. It’s the work ethic that a lot of teammates didn’t like. When I was there and things didn’t work out, I always showed up and I always worked hard. I tried really hard, and I never complained.”
