Final Verdict according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner…Suicide. Not homicide.
Convicted steroids dealer, David Jacobs, who claimed to have sold drugs to pro football players killed himself, the Dallas County medical examiner said Friday.

Problem: The police said Jacobs had two self-inflicted gunshot wounds, one in the abdomen and the other in the head. No suicide note was found, said Andrae Smith, a public information officer for the Plano police.
How and why do you shoot yourself twice? Obviously you’d have to shoot yourself in the stomach first, then, if you avoid any major organs and don’t die from massive bleeding, aim the .40 caliber semi-auto at your head and finish the deal. But why not just shoot yourself in the head to begin with?
Answer: This was not a suicide as stated by the NFL examiner. It was a terribly planned homicide.
