Ebenezer Ekuban, a defensive end, was born in Accra, Ghana, and moved to the United States when he was 7 after his father was hired at the Ghana embassy in Washington. Three years later, he moved to the suburbs of Maryland. He was recruited to North Carolina by coach Mack Brown, now at Texas, and Tim Brewster, now the Broncos’ tight ends coach. Ekuban is married to Karen and has two children, Natalya, 10, and Ezra, 2.
