By now, you and everyone else in the world has seen the recent pics of Vince Young having cocktails and enjoying himself with his homies.
Vince issued this apology recently and although we understand it’s importance, we feel it unnecessary. What’s wrong with having a few drinks, taking off your shirt, and doing the robot? Who’s never done that? We say let the kid live a little.
And now, the statement:
I was having a good time with friends … and you know how it is, as a quarterback you can’t have too much fun. I blame myself for that, but at the same time you have to watch certain things,” adding, ‘”I apologize to some of the kids if they did see it because I am trying to be a role model for them. But at the same time, I was just trying to have fun with (friends).”
