Andre Johnson has a charity that ordered 750 bikes from Wal-Mart, to be given to underpriviledged kids at an event for his charity. Wal-Mart, in return, agreed to donate water and ice to the event.
Supposedly there was a problem with the bike order, so Johnson ended up buying fewer bikes than planned. Wal-Mart countered by not giving the water and ice as promised.
The Andre Johnson Foundation got played like a flute. Wal-Mart, according to TMZ is trying to make matters good. [TMZ]
FYI: The old lady in this picture was not responsible for the ‘water and ice’ hold-out. That’s Gladys, the best damn greeter west of the Mississippi.
