HBO Hard Knocks: The Cowboy Bunch

The 2008 Dallas Cowboys will be the fourth season “Hard Knocks” team. The HBO cameras will follow the team through meeting, practice, and other drama. Past seasons have been both exciting and lame.
Here’s a recap of past episodes if you’ve never watched the documentary:
2001 Ravens: The show was highlighted by a prank war between Tony Siragusa and Shannon Sharpe. And lowlighted by a torn ACL suffered by Jamal Lewis. In the end, the defending Super Bowl champs went 10-6 and lost in the second round of the playoffs, a year after going 12-4 and winning it all.
2002 Cowboys: Borrrrring. The Cowboys finished 5-11 for the third straight season, so it’d be hard to blame the failures of that season on a bunch of camera crews.
2004 Jaguars: John Henderson getting bitch slapped in the face before a preseason game to get him fired up highlighted this season. The Jags went 5-11 in 2003, Jack Del Rio’s first year. They went 9-7 in the season to follow “Summer”.
2007 Chiefs: Big story here was the Larry Johnson’s holdout and the Dwayne Bowe rookie drama. The Chiefs went 4-12 after making the playoffs the previous fall.
- T.O. and Pacman will have quiet time together, as T.O. shows Pac how to de-thug
- Jerry Jones will undergo yet another teeth whitening procedure, his 17th since last November
- Wade Phillips will load up on donuts and other high-carbohydrate foods to enhance his “Cabbage Patch” look
- The final episode will feature a guest cameo by Jessica (with jugs), bringing homemade cookies for the team.
