Not long ago this off-season, Patriots running back Kevin Faulk was busted with possession of four weed cigarettes. He remained quiet about the whole thing at the time of the bust.
Today, Kevin says the weed was never his. His drug test immediately after the arrest showed no marijuana in his system.
Said Faulk: “The only comment I have on it is that I take total responsibility for what happened to me. I knew there were going to be a lot of questions as to why I didn’t comment on it, but I was always taught actions speak louder than words, so my reaction was to just go and take a drug test.”
Actions do speak louder than words, Big Kev. And the “action” was that you had four fat joints on you. But we’re not mad at Kevin, just mad at the system. Puff.
