Heath Benedict, 6′6, 335 pounds, would have been a 4th round selection in next months NFL draft. Wednesday, he was found dead on his couch.
The two-time Little All-American offensive lineman from Newberry College in South Carolina transferred to Newberry for the 2004 season after redshirting at Tennessee as a freshman in 2002. He played high school football at the Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J.
No foul play is suspected.
