The NFL and its 32 teams are more than $9 billion in debt, according to a report by the SportsBusiness Journal.
Baseball’s debt is $3.1 billion, while the NBA, which declined to disclose debt totals, limits borrowings for each of its 30 teams to $175 million each, or $5.25 billion at most.

We couldn’t find an itemization of debt per team…..but, we’re guessing the Arizona Cardinals are responsible for 8 of the 9 billion dollar debt. If you or someone you know is a Cardinal fan, please contact our office ASAP for fund raising opportunities.
