The Dolphins signed All-American JV kicker Dave Rayner to a 1-year contract on Tuesday according to his agent.

Rayner, a former Michigan State standout who was selected by the Colts in the sixth-round of the 2005 draft, spent a part of last season with the San Diego Chargers.  Before that he played with the Chiefs and Packers.
