Sean Salisbury felt unappreciated and underpaid. He asked for a million dollar contract, ESPN showed him the door and gave his job to Chris Carter.
Said the Bitter Analyst:
“I’d grown tired of being punished for not being an NFL superstar. Analysts who don’t work as hard as me, don’t prepare as hard as me, and don’t have my resume were making more than me just because of their ability to throw or catch a football.”

Although we liked Salisbury as an analyst, he always came across as the guy seconds away from a mental breakdown.
Furthermore, what’s he doing in this pic? Is he being set-up by Dateline’s “To Catch a Predator” or is he meeting new friends on his Myspace? Either way, this cat is loose upstairs and should be watched closely.

Salisbury was one if the worst. He should drag Mark Schlereth along with him out the door. That place breeds jerks. I haven’t watched ESPN in a year.

Sean was a good analyst, and should be paid accordingly, but……..
I hated how he was quick to bash a team and even quicker to jump on the bandwagon and he acted like he was on the bandwagon all along.
Carter will not do as good as sean however.

Salisbury always seemed offended! You couldn’t say anything without him getting offended

Better than Carter, but still average. ESPN should’ve paid him

Salisbury led the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to a Grey Cup championship. He could throw!
